Situation: A monsoonal flow persist over Solomon Islands and links to a Low of 1000 hectopascals located to the south-southwest of Rennell & Bellona province in the Coral Sea.
Associated heavy rain is expected to affect the Solomon Islands within the next 24 hours.
Such localised Heavy Rain may lead to flash flooding over communities living close to large rivers, streams and low lying areas.
People are therefore advised to take precautionary measures because of flooding that will pose danger to lives and properties.
